Born in Sweden - based in Copenhagen since ’79. Worked extensively in the 80’s through the 90’s with many leading fusion and jazz artists. Since early 90’s principal guitar teacher at the Conservatory for Rhythmic Music at Copenhagen, and ’96 appointed associate professor in guitar. Toured with, recorded with or played concerts with: Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Eddie Harris, Michael Mantler, Bob Brookmeyer, Jimmy Smith, Jack Bruce, Adam Nussbaum, Joel Rosenblatt, Jon Kristensen, John Scofield, and many others. Tours in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Italy, Yugoslavia, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, USA, Canada, bjarne roupé guitarist/composer/teacher
